Singing and Acting
My hobbies are singing and acting!! They are the most favorites things that i like to do!!! Here's are some experiences...the first is acting.......It was a couple minutes before the show, hearts beating, crowd shooshing, and hopes flying high. I was going to perform in the Musical Aladdin in front of my WHOLE grade! I was Jasmine....what a nervous break down I had...... but I told myself that I could "do it". Amy, my best friend who also played the Genie, comforted me and actually held my hand on stage (since we were in the back and no one could see us) to reassure me. Thank god she was there or I wouldn't know what I'd do. The show turned out to be a great hit! Everyone loved it, I sang and acted awesome!!!
Singing.......hmmmmmmmmm what can I say about singing? Singing is one of my passions.....I go to singing when I'm sad...I listen to music when I'm stressed...It's my life. I have been singing since I was little....in musicals, community theatre, to church and so much more........singing is a way to express yourself in a beautiful manner. Here's one of my experiences...........
It was the beginning of my volleyball game....at the time I was on the volleyball team and my uncle decided that we should sing aduet of the National Anthem. My heart raced in my throat. I always get butterflies when it comes to singing in front of my peers, and on top of that I was starting in the game!!!! The announcer said, " and now for our national anthem...." the crowd hushed, and rose to the flag. I sang the national anthem....at the end everyone gave us a standing ovation and cheered us. I was so happy... They said it was the best thing they ever heard and that it was so special to have a life performance of the national anthem instead of tracks! I was so happy and relieved....It especially made me excited when My Coach (the toughest guy ever) patted me on the shoulder and said "Alexia that was brilliant"!!!!!! I ended up singing well, and earning a lot of points in the game!!!!
