One of my fave things to do when I'm bored is switch up my nail polish. Even if they look perfectly fine and dandy with no chips (because I'm so dainty and my nails are constantly in tip top shape!), I still like to keep things interesting color-wise. I get bored easily and a new hue is often just what I need for a mood-booster on a grey day! My go-to color has always been Essie's "Hard To Get," (it's basically Pepto-Bismol pink and a touch of purple -- sounds way worse than it looks!) but this weekend I was feeling extra daring and picked up this L.A. Girls FLARE navy polish as an impulse by at Urban Outfitters ($5 -- score!). What do you think of dark navy polish? My style is def not punk (check out my girly makeup shot below?), but getting in touch with my dark side via my nails is always a fun way to mix it up.
